Chennai metro phase 2 services to start at 6am from tomorrow

Starting October 23, Chennai Metro Rail Ltd will begin operations for the Phase-2 Yellow Line at an earlier time of 6am, adjusting from the previous 7am start. This change was made to accommodate commuters' requests for earlier travel options. During peak weekdays, trains will depart every 10 minutes, while non-peak service intervals will be every 15 minutes, enhancing overall convenience for passengers.
